![]() ![]() Is there a way to get the ERM to now sync all my synths via the usb’s connected to my Mac or do I now need to connect all my synths to the ERM? If I must connect the synths to the ERM via midi, do I need a midi box like the Erica Synths Midi Thru Box so I have enough ports? (I have more than 4 synths). The manual might as well be Chinese, I’m having a hard time understanding what I need to do next.įirst of all, do you recommend Ableton being the master clock or should the ERM now be the master? With Ableton the master, the dials etc on the ERM seem to have no effect. ![]() But this as far as I’ve got and as far as my limited knowledge on clocks and midi routing etc will take me. So I’ve installed the ERM plugin and loaded it onto an empty track and I appear to have the ERM box synced to Ableton as the BPM matches and changes when I change in Ableton. All my synths and drum machines are connected to a MacBook Pro via a USB hub. ![]() I resisted for ages because of the price but I eventually caved in decided to give it ago. I kept coming across the ERM Multiclock as like this godlike device for hyrid set ups to keep everything perfectly sync’d with your DAW. I use Ableton (which I love) but I seem to be spending far too much of my time fixing or caring about sync issues and/or reading posts about how to fix it. It’s been great fun, but now I’ve ended up in a bit of a hybrid mess. Helloooo anyone who cares to read this! □ Really quick bit of background - been producing 2 years, ended up getting hardcore GAS throughout covid and went a bit nuts buying gear. ![]()
